Kathy is a dedicated, compassionate therapist with over twenty years of experience in the mental health field. She began her career as a therapist after years of working in healthcare administration and fitness. She loved working in the fitness industry, taking great interest in hearing the life stories of clients and helping them achieve their goals. It was this that ignited her passion for counseling.
After completing graduate school in Counseling Psychology, Kathy worked in an agency setting that served children, adolescents and families. This experience provided exposure to a broad range of issues and prepared her to transition to a private counseling setting.
After several years, she transitioned to a private practice setting where she has been fortunate to work with adolescents, adults and couples to resolve issues that have been preventing them from leading their best lives. This has been a fulfilling experience, as she states, " I have seen first hand the powerful impact realized by those choosing to embrace the therapeutic process."
In 2016, she founded 20/20 Counseling, LLC. The practice is committed to adding services such as positive lifestyle change management, life coaching and a variety of support groups to provide a holistic approach to the therapeutic process. In addition, the practice has been fortunate to add several associates that have broadened the scope of what the practice has to offer. Kathy would like to help you develop the inner resources needed to maximize your potential, improve your relationships and once again enjoy the life you are living.
